SMALL GROUPS

Surround

It has been said that your friends will determine the direction and quality of your life.  That is as true for adults as it is for kids and students.  Being a disciple of Jesus means to intentionally surround yourself with other disciples who can encourage and challenge you to grow, and to care for you when you are hurting or in need.  But it also means that you can be the one who challenges and encourages another to growth, and care for someone who may be hurting or in need.

There are all sorts of names for small group ministries in various churches.  We have two categories of Groups:  LIFEGroups and ADVENTUREGroups.

LIFEGroups meet weekly from September-May (following the Bartow County School Calendar) and are designed to be a place  to connect with others as you learn to apply God's Word to your life...together.

ADVENTUREGroups meet periodically throughout the year to help you connect with others as you pursue common interests...together.

We want Groups to be a place where you can surround yourself with genuine friendships and grow in your walk with God. We all need friends who can encourage, support, and even challenge us. We all need spiritual friendships who can engage us in meaningful conversations, who can pray for us when we are discouraged or confused, and who can celebrate with us when we experience great joy.

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
