YOUTH MINISTRY

YOUTH Ministry

We are building more than a youth group, we are building a Youth Ministry.

What's the difference?

A Youth Ministry is focused on helping students become maturing disciples of Jesus.

A Youth Ministry is focused both on building strong relationships with friends and building  loving bridges to the world.  A Youth Ministry understands that events and outings are creative ways to help their peers become disciples of Jesus, too.

The Foundry

What is  The Foundry?

Well, a foundry is a place where metal is formed and forged, which is exactly what we want for our students to be:  formed in the image of Jesus, and forged in their walk with Him.

Students meet at The Foundry each week during the school year on Sunday nights at from 6-7:30 p.m.  We offer pizza and drinks each week so you don’t even have to worry about feeding them.  If you’ll send them with a $1 per slice of pizza you’ll be all set! Dinner:  check!

Now, we know that the needs and the maturity level of middle school students and high school students are vastly different, so each week following the teaching time we will create a space specifically for each group to connect and discuss how to apply the teaching from that night. Perhaps one day we will even be able to have separate times and spaces for each group.
